June 14, 2016Todd and Sons Go Catching Fish
We headed out Saturday Morning around 7am in look of Sailfish and Dolphin. Todd and his two sons are from Kentucky and have never fished South Florida before. We started off anchoring the boat, and dropping down on a ship wreck, with immediate action. Right off the bat we could too 20-30Lb Cobia on live pilchard above the ship wreck.
Two really nice fish, we were defiantly surprised to see a couple big Cobras in June. After we iced the fish we began to reset out line toward the botrom.
Catching a couple mutton snappers and a big grey snapper and jumping off a sailfish on a live bait.
Dead Bait for Bull Sharks
We also caught a 82″ bull shark on a dead bait on the bottom, which took us 20 minutes to reel in ! We later decided to head off shore in search of Mahi Mahi. After a 25 minute search off shore, we saw a small weed line off in the distance.
Filling the box with Mahi Mahi anywhere from 5-15lbs, dinner is served! We then point the Good Hit west to the barn with happy customers.
