June 11, 2016Today we had Dan and Liz, from Houston, Texas, aboard the Good Hit! Their goal was a couple good eating fish as well as some action with big game fish. Hurricane Colin had just passed South Florida’s coast so we double checked the weather radar for some reassurance. Once we were out of Port Everglades inlet and past the break water we were certain the weather and seas would be in good conditions. We set up our first drift and missed a few fish, but then BANG! We nailed a nice size King Fish. After the king mackerel there wasn’t much action, so we decided to make a move. We set up our second drift and nailed an Atlantic Sailfish!
“Had a great time with captain and crew. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend the crew at Good hit Sportfishing for what could be a trip of a lifetime as we had.”

After a few high fives, we took measurements and released the sailfish back into the water. Another successful trip on the Good Hit!
