Swordfishing with the boys!!
We headed out on the 13th of September with Max, Lawerence and myself, Captain Mike. We needed a change of pace from the everyday reef fishing world, so the boys got together and planned a fun Swordfish Trip. We headed out of Bahia Mar on Fort Lauderdale Beach around 4:00pm. The weather was Perfect, the wind was about 4 kts and the seas were less than a foot !

       Which is ideal Swordfishing Conditions for Fort Lauderdale. With a fast boat and nice weather, we quickly approached the Swordfishing Grounds. As the sun began to set and the boys finished rigging the bait, we deployed our lines into the water. Within the first hour we Hooked a healthy swordfish! The battle went on for about an hour, gaining line and loosing line. Until we boated a 175lb Broadbill Swordfish!

Which was the only fish of the night, but a nice fish. Another great trip aboard the GH with the Boys!!!
