February 2019

February was a huge month for Good Hit Sportfishing. We fished 40 trips on the month, non stop action through the entire month. I would say this February was the February of Monster King Fish. Catching a few King over 35lbs, biggest one was close to 45lbs.

We have been catching these monsters on the flatline goggle eyes. (Spinning Gear) Most of these fish can put up a great fight boat side. Making long powerful runs and some fights going over 30 mins. These Bigger Kingfish can sure give you a run for your money.

Not only did we do 40 trips in February, but we also decided to paint the boat and put some new motors on. My close friend Todd F. With TMI marine never lets me down. He does quality work and finishes in a timely fashion.

We enjoy changing the motors every two years for peace of mind and reliability. Good Hit Sportfishing is teamed up with Mercury Marine and Preferred Marine to help keep us on the water daily. I got to say it’s not easy to keep a center console running daily on the ocean, and our partners make it possible.

Daytime Swordfishing on continues to get better in February, one of the Good Hits Crew member – Andrew Kennedy Landed a 497lb Swordfish. This fish fought for 3 hours on an electric reel, before finally bring this monster in the boat. Congrats to Mitch, Andrew, TJ, Tom, and Nicole.

Another huge addition to the Good Hit operation is Bos Beachwe have been waiting for this Resturant/Bar to open for years. It is located directly in-front of the Good Hit. Having a beautiful view and amazing food, this is a must stop if you are town for a good time.
