June 27, 2024Springtime Slams with Good Hit Sport Fishing!
Lights Out, Drag Screamin’! Spring has sprung in Fort Lauderdale, and the fish are fired up! Captain Mike and the crew at Good Hit Sport Fishing have been putting anglers on some epic springtime action offshore, and guess what? We’re talkin’ light tackle battles!
Blackfin Blitz! These tasty speedsters haven’t gotten the memo about social distancing. We’ve been seeing schools of blackfin tuna tearing through baitfish, with plenty of 20-pound bruisers eager to take a swipe at your bait. Light tackle is the name of the game here, folks, and these acrobatic fighters will put your skills to the test!
Sailfish Spectacle! If you’re looking for a true adrenaline rush, then look no further than the majestic sailfish. These aerial warriors have been putting on a show, with several boats releasing spectacular 6-foot sailfish after heart-stopping battles on light tackle. Witnessing a sailfish erupt from the water with its sail billowing in the wind is an experience you’ll never forget!
Bottom Bonanza! Not all the action is happening topwater. Our deep-dropping tactics have been putting anglers on some serious bottom dwellers. Black grouper in the 20-pound range have been chomping down on live bait, and the mutton snapper bite has been nothing short of phenomenal, with several 20-pound bruisers gracing the deck.
Light Tackle Magic! The best part? We’ve been achieving all this incredible spring fishing using light tackle. These feisty fish put up a tremendous fight on lighter gear, making every catch a true test of skill and finesse.
