Big Bulls and Great Whites: A Legendary Week at Good Hit Sport Fishing
April 29, 2026The transition from March into April has delivered phenomenal action across the board for Good Hit Sport Fishing. We are currently seeing a diverse “spring mix” that makes South Florida one of the premier fishing destinations in the world during this window.
Recent Catch Highlights
Intracoastal Waterway: We successfully landed a massive Goliath Grouper, proving that you do not always have to go far to find a trophy.
Gulf Stream: A recent run into the stream put us right on the Mahi Mahi as they begin their seasonal push closer to shore.
Offshore: The Sailfish bite remains consistent. We are seeing steady action on the kite and live baits along the reef edges.
Nearshore: Just offshore, we encountered a powerful Hammerhead Shark, adding some serious heavy tackle excitement to the trip.
Speed and Accessibility
One of the biggest advantages of fishing with us is our location. Our center console is docked right outside of Port Everglades, which means we have the shortest run possible to the fishing grounds. While other boats are still navigating slow speed zones, Good Hit Sport Fishing gets you on the fish faster. Within minutes of leaving the inlet, you can have lines in the water for Sailfish, Kingfish, or Tuna.
The New Good Hit 3.0: Conch 330
These recent trips took place onboard our brand new Conch 330. This vessel is a purpose-built fishing machine designed for the serious angler who still appreciates a comfortable ride.
Powered by a triple outboard configuration, the Conch 330 offers a dominant holeshot and a fast top end to maximize your fishing time. The boat features a massive beam for stability, 360 degrees of fishing freedom, and over 60 strategically placed rod holders. Whether we are kite fishing for Sails or bottom fishing for Grouper, this platform provides the ultimate advantage on the water.
You can get your spot on the calendar now to experience the peak of the spring run on the finest center console in Fort Lauderdale.
