Fishing conditions off Fort Lauderdale have been steady across both the reef lines and offshore waters, giving anglers a solid variety of species to target this week.

Bottom fishing and anchoring over the ledges have produced consistent results, highlighted by a strong mix of snapper.

• Snapper: We have been pulling good numbers of mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, and active yellowtail snapper using live bait and cut bait.
• Reef Predators: Anglers working the shallower edges have also encountered aggressive barracuda and hard-pulling jack.

Offshore & The Edge

Moving out into deeper water and working the weedlines has yielded a mix of pelagics and speed fish.

• Trolling & Pelagics: Recent trips have produced solid mahi-mahi along the color changes.
• Tuna & Kings: High-speed trolling and live-baiting on the edge resulted in active schools of blackfin tuna, bonita, and skipjack, alongside steady numbers of kingfish.
